
Tori’s Chocolate Cake
This recipe is results in a lovely balanced cake that is moist and easy to make. Perfect for a birthday cake or a lunchbox favourite. I have started subbing Canola Oil in for the butter.
Ingredients
- 2 Cups castor sugar
- 60g Butter
- 2 Eggs
- Vanilla
- 3/4 Cup plain yoghurt
- 6 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1 Cup water
- 2 Cups plain flour
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Bi-Carb
- 1/2 Teaspoon baking powder
METHOD
Cream sugar and butter (Canola Oil) in a large boil and once smooth, add the eggs and vanilla essence. Add the remaining ingredients one by one, beating until smooth with each addition. Bake in a 180ºc oven.
Makes 1 large cake or two medium sized.
